Day 1: Pakse – Steung Treng (B)
Our car and guide will pick you up at Dong Krolor (land border) between Laos & Cambodia then transfer to Stung Streng Town (210km from Pakse; 40km from the border) afterwards go straight to the hotel for check in. Visit the capital of the province Stung Treng, in this province you will see the Mekong river. Stung Treng is the first province that meets Mekong river in Cambodia. You will take a small boat with a sort trip along Mekong River. Visit the Local Market. Dinner by your own arrangement. Overnight in Stung Treng. Hotel.
Day 2: Steung Treng – Rattanakiri (B)
Early breakfast at the hotel, afterwards trip to Ratanakiri (the province bordering in Vietnam) with thickly forested hill terrain, hill tribe people (population of around 75,000), water fall and abundant wildlife. It also called highland of Cambodia. The road is a bit rough. Reached the town of Banlung before lunch time. Take a sort rest at the hotel. Lunch by your own arrangement.
In the after noon you will visit a very nice lake in highland called Yeak Loam. It is 5km from Banlung, small but scenic crate lake of an extinct volcano. Hiking along the lake. Please inform our guide if you want to swim there after a long trip. Back to the town. Dinner by your own arrangement. Overnight in Ratanakiri.
Day 3: Rattanakiri (B)
Full day visit at Ratanakiri Province which includes Phnom Eisey Patamak, at the top of Phnom Svay is the statue of a reclining Buddha, situated 2.5 km. Awesome and peaceful, it has lain undisturbed throughout the years. Have a glimpse at Laos in the north and Vietnam in the east and enjoy the spellbinding serenity of the surrounding countryside. Visit Kreng Ethic villa, strange grave of Tompoun ethic; Kachang Water fall (Kachang Waterfall is situated 6km north west of Banlung). This Waterfall is located in the Kontung stream and flows into the Sre Pok river. The height of it is 12 m. There you can see a magnificent landscape and huge amounts of fresh mist surrounded the waterfall. The visitors can swim and sit to look at the waterfall and other natural scenic beauties either the visitors can also go around to view other natural sights on foot or take an elephants to ride); Katieng Waterfall is situated 7 km north - west of Banlung. It is also located in the Koutung Stream, 3 kms below the Kachang Waterfall. The height of it is 10m. The visitors can see a beautiful natural landscape and take a break to take pictures of the birds or take a photo to the waterfall. Back to hotel. Overnight in Ratanak Kiri.
Day 4: Rattanakiri (B)
Full day go to the north of Balung. Visit Veal rum Plan (stone field) it is situated 14 km from the North of Banlung. Stones cover the surface of this place and a dense around it. The visitors can go there and discover its beautiful attraction. Norng Kabat Forest is situated 23 km. north of Banlung. This place has a pond. The visitors can go there to see the animals and birds which comes to the pond or else the tourists can visit the ethnic villages, the ethnic culture (tradition belief, festival, dancing, music). Back to Banlung . O/N in Rattanakiri.
Day 5: Rattanakiri – Kratie (B)
After breakfast, move to Ratanakiri to Kratie by National road No. 07. When traveling along the National Road to the North about 15 Kilometers from the Provincial Town, we will pass by the bridge of Prek Kam Py where we have seen a very novel view of the Mekong river consisting of thousands of islands full of green water plants. Kratie is the natural and historical resort, located at Thmor Kre Commune. Kratie District is 11-Kilometer far from the provincial town by the National Road No. 7, then turning more 500 Meters to the mountain. Phnom Sam Bokit is the cultural and main tourist resort of Kratie Province. The resort has a good location and assured safety. In the after noon, get on small boat to take a trip along the Mekong river and Kampy resort. It’s the great natural resort where it is home for over 100 Dolphins (It is normally 2-2.8m in length and 180kg in weight). Overnight in Kratie.
Day 6: Kratie – Kompong Thom (B)
Full day travel to the south from Kratie crossing Kompong Cham, short stop at Nokor Bachey Temple, this historical site is 2.2 kilometer from the Kampong Cham provincial town along the National road No 7. The temple can be accessible by all types of vehicles. In the temple site is divided into: Tonle Om: Size 400 Meters x 500 Meters located at the East of the temple in approximately 300metres distance from the temple. Stop and overnight at Kom Pong Thom province down town. (Kampong Thom is Cambodia’s second largest province. At the geographical heart of the country, it is home to some of Cambodia’s most splendid cultural and natural heritage. Halfway between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, Kampong Thom town is situated on the banks of the Saen River. It is easy to reach from either direction and is an inviting starting point to explore some of the country’s most alluring tourism highlights. Kampong Thom is unspoiled Cambodia at its very best. O/N in Kompong Thom.
Day 7: Kompong Thom – Siem Reap (B)
Morning transfer to Sambor Prei Kuk, the antique capital of Chenla (early 7th century). Originally called Ishanapura, Sambor Prei Kuk, it’ is a home to the most impressive group of pre-Angkorian monuments with more than 100 temples scattered through the lush forest. Visit Kompong Kdei bridge (the ancient bridge of 1000 years made by stone) located in Siem Reap Province along National Road No.6, 60km southeast of the Siem Reap Town. It is 80m long and 14m wide and has 21 axes. To preserve the valuable cultural bridge, Mr. Bernard Phillippe Groslier, the French Angkor curator, restored it in 1965. At the age of 1,000 years, the bridge still being used as main infrastructure for facilitating the heavy loaded trucks. Hotel check in. O/N in Siem Reap Town.
Day 8: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom – Angkor Wat (B)
AM: Visit Angkor Thom, the capital city was indeed a 'Great City' as its name implies and it serves as the religious and administrative center of the vast and powerful Khmer Empire. Visit Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King and Phimena Akas.
PM: Visit Angkor Wat. View the sunset from top of Bakheng hill. Over night in Siem Reap.
Day 9: Siem Reap – Beng Mealea (B)
AM: After breakfast at the hotel, visit Beng Melea Temple, it is 60km East of the Town and requires an arduous 2 hours journey to get there. It is constructed in an Angkor Wat style in early 11th century by Jayavarman VII. The area has recently become available to visitors, being demanded just last year. Rough road and yet it goes through in a beautiful countryside. Only few visitors goes to the temple that gives the trip a real feeling of expedition. Picnic style of lunch.
PM: Visit Thommanon, Chau Say Teveda, Ta Promh, Banteay Kdei and Sras Srang. Dinner at local restaurant with buffet and traditional Apsara Show. O/N in Siem Reap.
Day 10: Siem Reap – Kbal Spean – Banteay Srei (B)
AM: Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to visit Kbal Spean, it is 49km from Siem Reap town and it's literally means "The head of the river". This is one of the rivers in 1000 lingas, made up of unique lingas and lingas stands into the riverbed of the Siem Reap river. It was believed that the lingas spiritually "fertilized” the waters that fed the eastern baray and irrigated the rice fields below. Lunch at local Kbal Spean.
PM: After lunch, visit Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. Back to Siem Reap. Dinner at local restaurant with buffet and traditional Apsara Show. O/N in Siem Reap
Day 11: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Cruise – Shopping (B)
An hour of Great Lake Cruise to visit Fishing Villa and water life in the morning then go back to the town and visit the place that makes a handy craft, A’ tisan D’Angkor. Free time for shopping. Flight off.
