Halong Bay is one of the country’s most famous tourist atractions and was listed by UNESCO a World Natural Heritage , an area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 1,000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grotoes.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong – Cat Ba: (L/D)
8h00 Pick
up and depart for HalongBay – HalongBay is one of the
country’s most famous tourist atractions and was listed by UNESCO a World
Natural Heritage , an area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to
the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque HalongBay
has more than 1,000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them
containing beautiful grotoes.
Arrive HalongBay
around 11h30AM, have lunch on boat and enjoy boat trip to Cat Ba Island , on
the way visit SUNG SOT caves or Amazing caves. 17h30PM Arrival Cat Ba island ,
check-in hotel and dinner. Discover Cat Ba by night on yourself. You can walk
along to the Beach, which is called CatCo 1,2,3 in CatBa. Overnight in Cat Ba.
Day 2: Cat Ba National
Park - Lan Ha Bay: (B/L/D)
After breakfast, take a
tour bus to CatBaNational Park for approx
3-hour trek in the Park – home to 32 types of mammals and about 2000 species of
flora. This includes a trek through the park’s TranChauForest to a scenic overlook. Explore Tran
Chau cave and visit bat habitats. Return to hotel for lunch.
PM: Take small boat to MonkeyIsland to observe monkeys
in their native habitat. On to Lan Ha Bay for kayaking and exploring. Back to
hotel at approx. 5:00. Rest, dinner, and explore the night life of CatBaIsland.
Day 3: Halong – Hanoi: (B/L)
7h00: Have breakfast. Free
time at the beach.
11h00: Have lunch at the restaurant.
13h30: Transfer to HaiphongCity by hydrofoil to Binh
whart. Pick up and transfer to Hanoi. Arrive in Ha Noi at 17h00. End the trip.
