This well
paced tour encompasses all the must see sights of Vietnam – Historic Hanoi,
light adventure to the colorful land of hill tribes - Sapa, a cruise around
spectacular Halong Bay, the ancient capital Hue, multicultural Hoi An, the
mystical Mekong Delta and the bustling metropolis of Saigon.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D) Our
representative/tour guide will meet and greet you at the airport. Drive to your
hotel. Dinner and enjoy water pupet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: HanoiCityTours - Sapa (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. 8h00 visit
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum (Closed on Monday, Friday and the entire
months of October and November), One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to visit the QuanThanhTemple, Tran Quoc Pagoda.
PM: After lunch, continue to
visit the LiteratureTemple and Quoc Tu Giam (FirstUniversity
built in the 11 Century). Visit Ngoc Son temple and enjoy 1 hour cyclo tours around the
HanoiCity's old quarters. At 20:00, we go to Hanoi train station to
board overnight train to Sapa. Overnight on the train.
Day 3: Sapa (B/L/D) The train arrives
in Lao Cai at 05:00 am. Drive uphill to Sapa. At an elevation of 1,500 meters,
Sapa is the former hill retreat for French administrators when the heat in
plain became unbearable. The remoteness and simple lifestyle of ethnic
minorities are a highlight of Sapa although conditions are very basic. After
checking into hotel we can soak up the fresh climate as much as we want by
spending time to wander around. The ethnic people are frequently seen in this
hill town and small vendors along the street sell local textiles and
handicraft. In the afternoon, we trek to Cat Cat village (2 km from Sapa town)
where you will visit the village
of Black H’mong hill
tribes. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of SapaValley.
Back to hotel.
Day 4: Sapa - Hanoi (B/L/D)
This
morning, trekking to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages inhabited by Black
H’mong and Dzay ethnic minorities. Enjoy amazing and breath-taking landscapes
of terraced paddies, green valleys and meet with friendly local people. Back to
the hotel and free at leisure. In the afternoon, we transfer you back to Lao
Cai station to take night train back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi
- HalongBay (B/L/D)
Pick up
at the station at 05:00 and we will transfer you to HalongBay.
We depart for HalongBay, we go through the
scenic countryside. The wondrous HalongBay is truly one of Vietnam’s most
impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an
exploration of the legendary HalongBay. This exciting five
hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery
blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from
the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with
beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a
leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many
hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on the Junk Cruise
Day 6: Halong – Hanoi (B/L/D)
Waking up
and having breakfast served onboard. Continue cruising around the bay and
overlooking daily life of Halong on the way back and van will pick you up at
the pier and transfer back to Hanoi.
On the way back, Visit Dong Trieu ceramic and pottery village on the way.
Arrive in Hanoi
at 04:30 pm. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 7: Hanoi
- Hue (B/L/D)By Flight Transferring to
the airport to catch morning flight to Hue.
Check-in hotel upon arrival and take refresh for a while. This quiet city is
widely known for the magnificent architecture of its citadels, palaces, royal
tombs, pagodas and temples built under the Nguyen Dynasty. We visit the major
sites including the Imperial Citadel with ForbiddenRoyalCity
like in Beijing.
Overnight in Hue
Day 8: Hue
(B/L/D) In the morning, we will take boat trip along the scenic PerfumeRiver
for sightseeing and next stop will be the famous Thien Mu pagoda and Ming Mang
Emperor's mausoleum. Overnight at hotel in Hue
Day 9: Hue – Danang – Hoian (B/L/D)
Breakfast and check-out. Leave Hue for Hoi An, en route, photo stop at the top of Cloud -
Ocean pass and fishing village
of Lang Co. Lunch.
Upon arrival in Da Nang, visit ChamMuseum founded in 1915
where contains the best collections of Cham people sculpture. The tour will be
continued with MarbleMountains consisting of
five hillocks made of Marble.
A short drive to Hoian ancient
town which used to be one of the major international ports and trading centers
in South East Asia during the 17th, 18th and 19th
centuries. Check in. Dinner and overnight in Hoian.
Day 10:
Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An city tour (B/L/D)
Breakfast and check-out. Drive to My Son holly
land, the site of the most important Cham intellectual and religious center
during the 4th to 13th century, classified as the World Heritage Site.
Luncheon. Leave My Son for Hoian, a walking tour with our guide in Hoian
ancient town through the old , narrow streets with ancient wooden houses and
visit some interesting historic places such as JapaneseCoverBridge and Assembly Hall
of Cantonese Congregation. Dinner and overnight in Hoi an.
Day 11:
Hoian - Danang – Sai Gon (B/L/D)By
Flight
After breakfast, transfer to DanangAirport
for departure. Arrive Sai Gon, pick up at airport and transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 12: SaiGonCity tour(B/L/D)
In
the morning, we will take you around Ho Chi Minh City from downtown
Saigon to Chinatown to get a general view of it as well as its history and
culture with stops at Reunification Palace (Ex-Presidential Palace) that was
built in 1963 and is well-known as an outstanding example of 1960’s
architecture, the War Remmants, the Jade Emperor Pagoda, passing by Notre Dame
Cathedral (built in 1877), the General Post Office.
In
the afternoon you will visit Giac Lam pagoda that was built in
1744 and is regarded as the oldest pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City. You will also see Thien Hau
pagoda built in early 19th century, Chinatown,
Binh Tay market, Ben Thanh market. With a stop for a while at a lacquer shop,
you can buy some gifts for your friends, beloved relative. Overnight in Sai
Gon.
Day 13: Ho Chi
Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L/D)
Drive to
Vinh Long, a city famous by the MekongRiver and floating
market. You’ll cruise to visit Cai Be floating market, fruit orchards, a traditional
family-run brick kiln. You'll have a lunch at one of the local family and have
a shot show of traditional music in Mekong Delta which is operated by the local
people. You'll have time to wonder around the fruit market to buy some kind of
famous tropical fruit such as banana, pomelo, dragon fruit, and mangos tin and
so on.
You’ll
return to Ho Chi Minh City.
You'll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh
City.
Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City departure (B)
Your time
will be your own until your private car and driver arrives to take you to Tan
Son Nhat airport for your departure flight.
